During my research on the Jason Arday case, the
Cambridge professor accused of plagiarism, I came across a short but eloquent
video denouncing the jargon used in the social sciences. I haven't been able to
find the name of the video's creator. I believe it must be a former teacher.
Here it is:
Pseudo-Academic Gobbledegook

(Proof of her intellectual honesty, she later realised
she had made a mistake in an etymological explanation and immediately posted a
correction video.)
I also really liked her explanation, or rather her
translation into ordinary English, of a paragraph by the feminist icon Judith
Butler:
Gibberish and Judith Butler
